BspQ I Restriction Enzyme

This product is a recombinant protein derived from Escherichia coli expression of the BspQI gene from Bacillus sphaericus, which encodes a type IIS restriction endonuclease. It is primarily used for the linearization of in vitro transcription templates, by digesting plasmids to prepare linearized DNA fragments containing poly(A/T/G/C) ends. The recognition sequence and cutting site are as follows:

5'···GCTCTTC(N)↓···3'

3'···CGAGAAG(NNNN)↑···5'
