E.coli Total RNA Residue Detection Kit

Escherichia coli, as the host for exogenous gene expression, with a clear genetic background and simple technical operation, is the most widely used and successful expression system, often chosen as the preferred system for high-efficiency expression. In the actual production process of viral vectors for gene therapy, large-scale GMP-grade plasmids are required for transfection steps, which also involve plasmid preparation. Multiple literatures have proposed that in addition to nonspecific nucleases introduced by the process, such as host DNA residues, it is also necessary to strictly control residual DNA, RNA, and protein residues from E. coli hosts.

This kit is based on fluorescence quantitative PCR method, targeting the conservative sequence of the E. coli genome, designed primer probes, and paired with ready-to-use E. coli RNA quantitative reference standards. It combines reverse transcription and fluorescence probe qPCR detection technology, establishing a rapid detection and high-sensitivity real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR kit for quantitatively detecting residual E. coli total RNA in bioproducts.

This kit is used in conjunction with Biori's DNA Removal Kit and Nucleic Acid Extraction or Purification Kit II, and can detect fg-level E. coli total RNA residues in as fast as 2 hours.
