Robustart Tth

Robustart Tth is an antibody-modified hot-start polymerse. The polymerase activity is blocked at ambient temperature and restored after the initial activation step. It has better specificity and is suitable for amplification of low-concentration templates. This enzyme has not only 5 '-3' DNA template-dependent polymerase activity, but also has high temperature reverse transcription activity in the presence of Mn²+ ions, which can effectively eliminate the adverse effects of the advanced structure of RNA and non-specific annealing of primers on cDNA synthesis. Therefore, this enzyme enables "one-step RT-PCR" including the reverse transcription and PCR steps.

Reagent Composition:

1. 5 U/µL Robustart Tth

2. 10×Tth RT Buffer Basic (Mn²+ free) (Optional)

3. 25 mM Mn²+ (Optional)

Characteristics:

1. Modified by antibody and hot start at 95℃ for 1~5min.

2. It has both polymerase and reverse transcriptase activities.

3. In the presence of Mn²+, the reverse transcription can be carried out at a high temperature from 60 -70℃.  The reverse transcription efficiency of complex RNA templates is  higher and non specificity is reduced.

4. It preforms high inhibitor-tolerance.
