Product overview

AcuGenix™ Fast Taq DNA Polymerase-V2 is a hot-start fast-amplification Taq polymerase developed by Biori. It efficiently suppresses non-specific artifacts stemming from primer mispriming and primer-dimer formation during PCR setup and amplification. It delivers high-specificity performance with enhanced amplification of low-input templates, making it well-suited for multiplex PCR. This enzyme exhibits robust system compatibility and generates reproducible amplification results across diverse PCR assay formats.

Features and applications

Features
  • Antibody-mediated hot-start; activation at 95 °C for 30 s-1 min.
  • Fast extension rate of ≥ 1 kb/10 s, with excellent specificity.
  • High tolerance to inhibitors originating from samples such as blood and swabs.
Applications
  • End-point PCR and quantitative PCR
  • Rapid amplification, direct amplification, and nucleic-acid detection for POCT applications
